This is a choir of spoken word voices, preparing and rehearsing works inspired by Dorset poets, folk song and sea shanty. Each piece will be split into parts that we will learn according to natural pitch, with instruction on breath, diction, rhythm and acoustic vocals.
The course is over eight weeks, run in weekly sessions Wednesdays 1-3pm at St Swithuns Church Hall, Allington, Bridport. There is free parking at the hall, refreshments, and manuscripts are provided.
