The tour has been transformational. Eight shows, most sold out, often with friends or contributors listening in the audience and many new connections and live performance experiences in beautiful coastal communities and rural touring spaces. I wish I had more photos but the performance energy and preparation was intense. This was a premier for the spoken word commission by Sound UK, Seiners, performed with film by Adrian Cooper at Common Ground and live music from Emily Burridge Cello, Becki Driscoll (fiddle) and Julie Macara (synth and sound artist). We enjoyed meeting new friends and fab audiences across the South West regions in Combeinteignhead, Portland, Hythe, Langton Matravers, St Marys (Isles of Scilly), Newlyn, Bideford and Newquay. The tour partnered with rural touring partners: Artsreach, Villages in Action, Sproutspoken, Culture in Common, Creative Cornwall, Can to Cove, Old Town Inn St Marys, Bideford Film Society and Beaford Arts. How lucky were we to fly to Scilly and back in the March wild weathers, and what huge and vibrant memories of good times and creative sparks. Thank you everyone who made this happen, it takes so many people to champion arts in rural communties. The feedback has been gorgeous. I long for more.
