Heart of Stone project

A new community play to be performed outdoors by The new Portland Players in 2021. Heart of the Stone takes inspiration from a series of discussion cafes and in conversation events at Portland Museum last year, with quarrymen.

In February we will bring together a new group of community players, The Portland Players, who will be performing the Heart of Stone play outdoors at The Stadium Bowl, on 2nd and 3rd May.

We are proud to be partnering with the Atlantic School, Island Voices Community Choir and Portland Museum and we are supported by b-side.

We are running a ‘taster session’ to get involved – acting, dancing, helping back stage:

Saturday 6th February 10-3pm at the Peter Trim Hall, please get in touch to book a slot to come and say hello and find out more…try a few acting games and exercises.
