bardic song and practice in new performance
As writer and performer (concept and research practice developed at Dartington School of Art 2022 during my MA Poetics of Imagination) is now in development for a performance show later this year…
Gododdin is not forgotten. Aneurin has woken. I am Aneurin.
This new lament for the fallen sees the bard alive in her cave all present through history and all feeling. Wars, battles, identity and cultural and tribal divides tell our human separation from nature and call to return. The longing of loneliness, the sorrowful parting when we keep our own nature and wild at a distance. Calling Merlin, Taliesin and Aneurin back into the space and listen.
Spoken word, song, music and story.
